People before feeds, on iPhone

You were about
to scroll.
Say hi to a human
instead.

SupDude shields the apps that eat your evenings. When you open one, it steps in — smirking — and suggests someone who actually knows you.

SupDude interrupting a scroll: ‘Bro. I’m literally a phone. You haven’t talked to Mom in 9 days’, with Call, Text and Voice note buttons

A tiny observation

You hold a phone all day.
You almost never call anyone.
Ironic, isn’t it?

The most advanced communication device in history somehow became a machine for watching strangers make pasta. SupDude is one small, smug correction.

How it works

The whole trick,
in three taps.

  1. Shield your feeds

Pick the apps that steal your attention. Apple’s Screen Time does the blocking — SupDude only sees opaque tokens, never what’s inside.

Onboarding screen asking ‘Which apps steal your attention?’ with a button to allow Screen Time access
  2. Get lovingly interrupted

Open a shielded app and SupDude appears with the person you’ve been meaning to talk to. Call, send a message, or plan a call for later. A small moment with someone you care about, before returning to the feed.

A dimmed feed with SupDude’s card: ‘You haven’t logged a chat with Andrew yet’ and buttons to call, text, voice note or WhatsApp
  3. Log the win

Reached out for real? That’s a people-before-feeds moment. SupDude counts those — not streaks, not screen time, just the times you chose someone over the scroll.

SupDude asking ‘So… did human interaction happen?’ with a ‘Yep, log it’ button

The twist

It knows when
to shut up.

Each person has a rhythm — weekly for Mom, monthly for that friend from 2019. Once everyone’s heard from you, SupDude stops pushing names and just tips its hat:

Look at you, staying in touch.

You’re all caught up with actual humans. The feed never noticed you left.

A rhythm is a floor, not a schedule. Text people as much as you like — SupDude only nags when someone’s genuinely overdue.
